I purchased this laptop in April 2022 from online retailer Banggood. By November 2023 the casing developed a serious bulge in the casing on the left hand side, buckling the case, keyboard and mousepad. It became apparent that the internal battery had failed and expanded, thus buckling the case. I contacted Banggood, who basically brushed me. They told me that the product had a 12 month warranty, which had expired and that they would not be offering repair, replacement or refund. I had expected that a reasonable person would expect a laptop to last longer. Australian Consumer Law guidelines even use a malfunctioning laptop as an example in their guidelines, specifically stating that the seller/manufacturer is responsible to make good under similar circumstances. Purchase this laptop, or deal with Banggood at your own risk.
